Biography
Hello
and Welcome!
My name is Donn Young and I am the proud proprietor of . I am
a Registered Piano Technician member of
The Piano Technician's Guild,
Inc., the ONLY professional organization of piano tuner-technicians in the US to
certify its members through extensive testing and examination in all phases of
piano technology. I am also a Certified Member of
The Master Piano Technicians of America.

As a piano technician I have serviced pianos for
over 35 years in New York, New Jersey, Pennsylvania and Delaware.
Satisfied performers for whom I have tuned have included such notables as Dave Brubeck, Andre Watts,
Emanuel Ax, Christoph Eschenbach and Wolfgang Sawallisch. Regular
customers have included members of the NY Philharmonic and The
Philadelphia Orchestra.

Formerly a professional musician, I have played and
toured with the Glenn Miller Orchestra, the Jimmy Dorsey Orchestra,
Glen Campbell, the Supremes, Smokey Robinson and the Miracles, Mel Torme, and the
University of North Texas Lab Band, to name just a few. I am also a
recipient of the Lincoln Center Student Award for musical excellence.

In between making music and tuning pianos I have
been a composer, arranger, computer programmer and website designer.
